Abstract
This study aims to measure the effect of voice behavior on employees’ creative performance moderated by work-related stressor. The samples comprised 125 full-time employee of PT. Telkomsel Branch in Surakarta, also the cluster of Karanganyar, Boyolali, Sragen, Sukoharjo, Solo, Wonogiri, Grobogan, Blora and Klaten. To test the hypothesis, the data collected were analyzed through moderated regression analysis. The result shows that voice behavior significantly effects creative performance in a positive way. In other words, the higher voice behavior exists, the more increase will be on employees’ creative performance and vice versa. Furthermore, it is also found that work-related stressor can influence creative performance directly. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that it is good for employees to be more courageous to voice out their opinions or idea and be friends with work-related stressors. Furthermore, the company must also pay more attention to the benefits of voice behavior, and work-related stressor to further improve the level of employee’s creative performance in the era of global business competition.
