Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of employee emotional intelligence on Work Performance with Transformational Leadership style as moderator. This research was conducted at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Surakarta. Sampling method in this research was conducted by using nonprobability sampling. The sampling technique used in this research is convenience sampling that is the selected sample with the consideration of ease. Based on the results of testing using AMOS 22 to test the model of structural relationships, obtained a significant positive result between emotional intelligence with job performance. While transformational leadership has no significant effect on job performance, so it can be concluded that transformational leadership no significant influence moderate on job performance. Through this study, it is expected to provide input to the PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Surakarta in formulating policies that should be done related to the problems studied, for further research is expected to expand the scope of research objects that are able to describe the condition of Hospital PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta.
