Abstract
This study aims to determine (1) the influence of cognitive reappraisal on job search behavior, (2) the influence of expressive suppression on job search behavior, (3) the effect of anxiety on job search behavior, (4) the role of anxiety as mediation in the influence of emotional regulation strategy and job search behavior. Population in this research is the final grade students of Sebelas Maret University year enter 2014. The sample used in this study as many as 210 people. Sampling technique using proportional sampling method. In this research, validity test using Confirmatori Factor Analysis (CFA), reliability test using Cronbach's Alpha method and hypothesis test using causal steps method with SPSS software. The results of this study indicate that cognitive reappraisal has a positive and significant effect on job search behavior, while expressive suppression has negative and significant effect on job search behavior, and anxiety mediate partially influence between emotional regulation strategy on job search behavior.
