Pengaruh Iklim Psikologis Kompetitif pada Konflik Kerja-Keluarga dengan Konflik Peran sebagai Variabel Mediasi

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) test and analyze the effect of competitive psychological climate on work-family conflict, (2) the effect of competitive psychological climate on role conflict, (3) role conflict in mediating the effect of competitive psychological climate on work-family conflict. The population of this research are insurance company’s agents in Surakarta, with total samples of 100 persons. Samples are taken by using purposive sampling method. Testings that are conducted in this research consist of validity test by using Confirmatory Factor Analysis method, reliability test by using Cronbach’s Alpha method and regression analysis with SPSS 16.0 software. Research findings evidence that: (1) competitive psychological climate and work-family conflict have significant positive association (2) competitive psychological climate and role conflict have significant positive association (3) role conflict does not mediate the effect of competitive psychological climate on work-family conflict. The limitation of this research is its sample size that is less representative and thus can not give general description that cause the result become less generalizable.
