This research aims to find out and describe the implementation of the concept TQM and the concept of TPM as well as the operational performance conditions in MSMEs Kampung Batik Laweyan.This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The techniques used in this research include: interviews with MSME owners, observation and documentation. Sampling uses a non-probability sample technique and purposive sampling, which is as many as 9 MSME owners. Data analysis uses technical analysis of the interactive models of Miles and Huberman which go through four stages of analysis, namely: data collection, data selection and reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. To ensure data validity obtained through confirmation of interview transcripts and observation reports to key informants. The results of this study indicate that (1) the application of the TQM concept to MSME Kampung Batik Laweyan is well implemented, although it is simple and there are several concepts that are not well implemented such as periodic quality reports, the absence of product development divisions, not use and pursuit modern equipment. Innovation has a significant speed at practice. (2) the application of the TPM concept is well implemented and simply. discipline in equipment maintenance and housekeeping is done very well. Information tracking is constrained by information on equipment damage that is not displayed on the wall. Employee involvement is still very low. (3) the condition of operational performance in the last three years in good condition, which can be seen in the increase of product quality, more effective operating costs, right in delivering products to consumers, fewer defects in end products and growing innovation.
